About Ignite Ministries
Ignite Ministries was birthed out of a burning desire by ordinary people to share the revelation of Jesus Christ as the returning Bridegroom and the church as His bride. We believe that our ultimate purpose is to be the bride that Jesus died for; holy, set apart, passionate for Him alone and ready for His return.
We Believe
We believe in the triune Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that there is one God and Father, Who is over all and in all and living through all. (Eph 4:6)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the only begotten Son of God, who was crucified and who rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, making intercession for us (Romans 8:34)
We believe that the Father send the Holy Spirit as Jesus’ representative to teach and remind us of everything Jesus taught (John 14:26)
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and that all scripture is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16)
We believe our ultimate calling is to be holy, set apart, without spot or wrinkle, a worthy bride, ready for the return of the Bridegroom
Objectives of Ignite Ministries
to support and encourage established churches and missionaries in Asia and the Pacific
to empower churches through training and education
to be a vehicle for people to experience short term mission trips to Asia and the Pacific
to be fully involved in serving our own local church
Fred Swart (Co-Founder)
Fred is co-founder of Ignite Ministries and carries an anointing for business. He is a CA, marketplace leader/minister and mentor. Fred has a passion to partner with men in particular, in order to help them establish an authentic relationship with the Father and to find freedom from self-reliance and other life-dominating issues.
Nicky Swart (Founder)
Nicky is the founder of Ignite Ministries and carries a deep burden for the marginalised, the broken, the misfits and the ostracised. She wants to see people established in their identities as sons and daughters, so that they are able to fulfil the unique destiny Father has for each one. Nicky has one desire...to life her life in full colour and for the glory of the Lord of Lords.
Anton van Rensburg (Technologist)
Anton is the Technology Lead for Ignite Ministries. He works full-time in the IT Industry, as Infrastructure Consultant mostly based in Australia. He loves gadgets, new technology and all IT related challenges. Anton is well-known as a "behind the scenes" guy.
